How to migrate your ccg.nhs.uk
calendar to NHS.net in Outlook
This may look like a long process, because there are
lots of small steps – but the good news is they are
all small, easy steps and you should only need to do
this once.
Once you do this you need to use your NHS.net
calendar only.
If at any time you experience a problem speak to
Michael Wüstefeld-Gray.
1. First step
1. Open Outlook.
2. Make sure you are
in your CCG.nhs.uk
account.
3. Go to file, then click
open, then import
A pop up will appear
1. Select Export to a file (the second option
down)
2. Click next.
Then…
1. Select “Outlook Data File (.pst)”
2. Click next.
Then…
1. Select Calendar
2. You’ve guessed it: Click next.
And then…
1. Check the file path, but don’t change it
2. Click Finish
And theeeeen….
1. There is no need to create a password here,
so just click OK.
2. After a few seconds the green bar of
happiness should appear
Half way there.
Now you’ve exported your CCG calendar, you
need to import it to NHS.net
First step
1. Open Outlook.
2. Make sure you are
in your NHS.net
account.
3. Go to file, then click
open, then import
A pop up will appear
1. Select “Import from another programme or
file”
2. Click next.
Then…
1. Select Outlook Data File
2. Click next.
Then…
1. Check the file path; make sure it is the same
one you exported before.
2. Click on Browse if you aren’t sure
3. Click Finish
Then…
1. Select Calendar
2. You know what to do: Click Finish.
Deja vu….
1. There is no need to create a password here,
so just click OK.
2. After a few seconds the green bar of
happiness should appear
Finished
• Check your calendar – both CCG and NHS.net should
show the same information
• NB NHS.net may not have imported the colours you
have assigned your CCG calendar appointments
• You might get duplicate reminders if you keep using
both calendars
• It is important that you now use your NHS.net
calendar for all future appointments and meetings.
