due to their complex nature (e.g. formulas,
graphs, models, etc.)

Access to eTextbooks requires a webenabled device and internet browser
Online and offline
Offline access supported by Firefox 3.6+, Safari 5.1+,
and Chrome
Screen readers
Users with blindness or visual impairment (e.g. NVDA
and JAWS®)
Users with LD (e.g. TextAloud and ClaroRead)
Depending on the screen reader used, student may have

accessible reader

INSTRUCTIONS FOR RENTING
1. Create a free account on www.coursesmart.com.
2. Search for titles.
3. Contact [email protected] to enable
accessible reader (if using JAWS®, NVDA,
VoiceOver, TextAloud).
4. Preview the first chapter of a book before renting
(and test how the book works w/ screen reader).
5. If book needs structural tags added to improve its
accessibility, title requests can be submitted to
[email protected].
