

Prevention of harm to human health and the environment
Definition of Chemical Substances:
 a substance created by artificial chemical reaction on elements or
compounds
 substances extracted and purified from materials in nature

Can be searched by CAS Surveyer (CD-Rom); Chem list & STN(On-line)
