• Prescribed under section 55 of the NSW Local Government
Act: LGP can be used by councils to make purchases
without the need to go to tender themselves;
• LGP conducts a full tender process that Complies with all
requirements of the NSW Local Government Act (1933) and
the NSW Local Government (General Regulations) 2005;
– Calling of tenders for goods and services on behalf of all councils;
– Selecting suppliers;
– Ongoing management of contracts, suppliers and the needs of council;
• LGP maintain comprehensive legal, due diligence and
probity systems.
