ACADEMIC EXPECTATIONS
I have high expectations for your child. Students are
responsible for knowing the procedures of the class so that
we may spend the greatest possible amount of time on task
and actively learning. I set goals for each student and each
student sets goals for themselves. We learn and practice the 7
Habits of Highly Effective Students to enable us to reach our
goals.
Your child will receive letter grades, as well as rubric scores.
All work must be neat and well thought-out. As I have
explained to the students, school IS their job, and I expect
them to do their best and take ownership of their actions (in
other words—BE RESPONSIBLE). Each student has a copy
of the grading scale in his/her binder.
