Reporting in E-Business Suite
Beginning with Oracle E-Business Suite 11.5.10, some reports are delivered with the XML Publisher components and therefore will not require any additional setup.
For those reports not delivered with XML Publisher components, following setup steps are required: 1. Set the report concurrent program to generate XML. This can be achieved by changing the Concurrent Program Report Output Type to XML in the Concurrent Programs Window 2. Create a layout template for the report using Microsoft Word 3. Register the concurrent program as a Data Definition in XML Publisher's Template Manager.
4.
5.
6.
Register and upload your layout template to XML Publisher's Template Manager.
Run the report and view output If output is not available, then run the ‘
XML Report Publisher
’ concurrent program with the request id of the original report. Note: Some of the Oracle Reports are not integrated into XML Publisher.
