What this job is all about….

Managing the commercial interaction with TGB distributors in order to achieve agreed sales and profit targets and to identify and develop new areas of business which generate sustainable profitable growth. This role is responsible for the commercial performance of several TGB brands in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain as well as other countries in the wider Middle East.

• Managing and developing a network of distribution partners and aligning these distributors behind the goals of the Middle East business unit and the wider EMEA region • Developing and implementing a business strategy for TGB brands in the assigned markets • Formulating and implementing annual business and brand plans along with associated budgets which ensure the commercial goals of the defined area of control are achieved or exceeded • Setting meaningful objectives, targets and priorities to distributors to deliver the annual business plans and budgets • Regularly monitoring and reviewing performance against budget and taking appropriate action to rectify variances • Being empowered - taking ownership and accountability for individual actions and activities • Doing things differently – adopting a challenger approach to everyday interaction • Commercial Insight – taking a commercial approach when processing information and making decisions • FMCG international sales and marketing experience • ‘Hands on’ experience of grocery and out of home channel in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait / wider Middle East • Experience of managing key accounts and distributors along with implementing a pricing strategy that ensures volume, value and profit target are achieved • Experience of managing internal departments and external agencies to ensure effective execution of brand strategies • To demonstrate a high degree of commercial acumen along with a proven track record of NBD • To possess strong negotiation skills along with an understanding of the impacts of the significant cultural and religious differences inherent in this role • To be financially literate • The ability to anticipate and plan for risk / problems • to speak Arabic. (Hindi desirable) • To be educated to degree standard or equivalent
