To provide funds to
local governments as
an incentive to create
partnerships to
produce and
preserve affordable
home ownership and
multifamily housing.

Income Level Expenditure Requirements
- 30% of funds must be expended on very low income
(50% of Area Median Income: Family of four: $28,300)
- 30% of funds must be expended on low income
(80% of Area Median Income: Family of four: $45,300)

Encumbrance/Expenditure Deadlines
- Funds must be encumbered within 2 state fiscal years
- Funds must be expended within 3 state fiscal years

Eligibility Guidelines

Households: Maximum 120% of Area Median Income,
(Moderate income for a family of four: $67,920)
Exception: 140% when funds are allocated to a
development funded by the Community Workforce Housing
Innovation Pilot Program, (CWHIP). No funding budgeted in 2008

Units: Must meet standards in Chapter 553, Florida
Statutes.
