Highlights
Statewide 2008 MCAS Results
Overall achievement is up
Across-the-board gains in Mathematics
Scores in Mathematics are the highest in the
history of the MCAS program
Continued improvement at grade 10
Early grades’ ELA scores were flat or in some
cases declined.
