Old Age Survivors and Disability Insurance (OASDI) or

Targeted Means-tested program
Old Age Assistance- (OAA) a means-tested welfare
program for the elderly,
Aid to the Permanently and Totally Disabled (APTD)- a
means tested welfare program for blind and severely disabled
individuals,
Aid to Dependent Children (ADC) - a means-tested welfare
program for mothers with dependent children who were
unable to provide for themselves.
