DP World Intermodal , part of the DP World Group, was set up and registered as
Container Rail Road Services Pvt Ltd (CRRS). CRRS formally commenced its
business operations in October 2007 from ICD Dadri and connecting to MICT.
•
Formally commenced operations in October 2007 Operating trains from ICD
Ludhiana Punjab , Dadri-National Capital Region and Sabarmati-Ahmedabad
Gujarat.
•
DP World Intermodal Owns a category 1 License issued by Indian Railways, to run
container trains from any port in India to all ICD locations in the Hinterland.
•
Acquired and own seven rakes at present. Plan to increase this number to Twenty
two in couple of years as per the Business Plan.

Strong presence in the major Gateway ports (NSICT and MDPT) for North India
hinterlands . CRRS has also run ad hoc services for Pipavav.

Present EXIM services connecting ports – Ludhiana (ICD DDL) and NCR (ACTL
Faridabad)

CRRS recently tied up with CONCOR for connecting ICD DDL with JNPT and
MICT.

 Experience and Consistency of operations – Commenced container train
operations from 2007 and consolidated position in the EXIM trade in North
India. Despite not having an ‘in house ‘ line customer, have managed a Market
Share of 22-25% in Ludhiana.
 Seamless connectivity possible due to our expertise in intermodal business and
operations at ports.
 Priority handling of trains at MICT/ NSICT terminals operated by DP World.
 Assist shipping lines to reposition their excess empty equipment at a cost
effective but efficient manner (depending upon available space).
