Partners are 29 chambers as strong SME promoters, 8 universities as innovation promoters and 6 public administrations. The number of 44 partners is required to reach SMEs in 29 regions of all 11 BSR countries. Slide 7 of 28 RDA: BSR-QUICK: objectives & activities 1.Strengthening innovations and improve support for SMEs: KALININGRAD : A RUSSIAN REGION, A EUROPEAN OPPORTUNITY a) Further development of existing SME promoting network of the chambers from 11 BSR countries. b) Construction of a SME specific innovation-promoting infrastructure "Baltic Sea Academy" and development of cooperation between universities and SMEs. Ensure close cooperation of both networks c) Putting into action of comprehensive innovation concept and creation of 4 - 6 innovation clusters, orientated specifically at SMEs and regional strengths. d) Lasting increase of the competitiveness and the productivity, realization of comprehensive product and process innovations and clear growth of R&D operations. Slide 8 of 28 RDA: BSR-QUICK: objectives & activities a) Central development of training measures to increase the innovation ability and improve qualifications of businessmen, workers and unemployed. b) Transfer of the developed measures in all 11 countries and decentralised durable realization. c) Further dual bachelor studies. d) Increase of international mobility. KALININGRAD : A RUSSIAN REGION, A EUROPEAN OPPORTUNITY 2.Increase of the innovative power and reduce lack of qualified employees and businessmen in SMEs: Slide 9 of 28 RDA: BSR-QUICK: objectives & activities 3.Realisation of innovations and full use of market potentials: KALININGRAD : A RUSSIAN REGION, A EUROPEAN OPPORTUNITY a) Strengthening of the international cooperation of SMEs and increase of the till now low export ratio of the SMEs, primarily in Germany, the new EU members states as well as Russia and Belarus. b) Strengthening of the international exchange and realization of innovations by development of the transnational cooperation.
