Confronted issue in Asian Economy
- SME
SME supports Asian Business mainly
SME play an important role as a manufacturer, an assembler, a supplier
and major distrubuter
Supporting a flexible supply chain alongside the Large Companies
Coexistence of the Assembler and Supplier
The “Western” style SCM isn’t suited to Asian SME
The core of Business is made up of large companies
Only the medium sized businesses that have cleared the benchmark are
able to participate in the Large-Company-Centered supply chain
The dying out of Suppliers by Assemblers

Confronted issue in Asian Econony
- Regional Diversity
Asian Business fit the system to the work process based on diversity
A wide variety of different languages
Different Currency
Different Social Values
The “Western” SCM model is trying to make the work process fit the
standardized system
English as the central language
Dollars and Euros as the main currency
Business custom of Western Style
