A Reminder of the

Mentorship Standards

Grading of Practice

• • • • • In each year the mentor makes a judgement on the student’s performance.

This may be judged as ‘Excellent’ Very Good’ Good’, ‘Satisfactory/Pass’ or ‘Unsatisfactory/ Refer’ In year 2 and 3 of the programme this judgement will be converted to a percentage grade by the module leader Criteria are provided in the PLD to support the mentor.

If a student does not meet their competencies in one placement then they will progress to their next placement and have one reassessment opportunity only. Mentors will be informed if a student requires reassessment.
