The External Training Week is run in order to
allow final preparation of teams and
weapons the endstate being that all
necessary acclimatization, familiarization
with the USMA and refinement of skills not
achievable at base locations is complete by
101215APR14.

SANDHURST 14. DMI Staff present: DMI6, DMI3,
Sandhurst OIC, Sandhurst 2IC, Sandhurst CIC,
Sandhurst CCSM.
SHARP brief mandatory for the CDTs and Team
Management.
Teams and management in attendance.
To brief to the CDTs the packets for the External
Training Week rotation.
MAJ Coltart
All Teams to be seated by 1040.
To confirm rotations, limitations and route to request
additional training estate.
Brief to cover injury prevention, environmental
conditions management, driver safety and UXO
avoidance.
Lunch at W-P club at own expense. LNOs to host
during lunch with DMI 3, LTC Bowman, MAJ Coltart
and CPT Buchleitner, CDT Freeman.

Team Manager Constraints
• Additional Training (other than background
activity) must be undertaken within the
Cantonment Area
• Rifle training focused on achieving a zeroed
weapon and familiarizing with US Army range
conduct rather than the application of fire
• BTD LNO to direct and support training
outside of DMI resourced events

– Movement of teams by own vehicles

– Troops deploying to the range / Camp Buckner will
receive MREs. All other meals in the CDT Mess.

– 5.56mm. 1320 rounds per 11 person team.
– 9mm. 1100 rounds per 11 person team.
• OPSLOGSYNC
– Daily from 6 APR – 10 APR at 1830 at TOC to coord
