Objective: Students will conduct their own research on various aspects of the 1950s to gain a
better understanding of life in the 1950s.
•
Directions: Students will work with a partner, but you may choose to work by yourself., to create
a “pocket travelers guide to the 1950s”.
•
What is a “Pocket Travelers Guide”? It’s a tour guide book for tourists. It gives details
about the culture/lifestyle, fads, key points of interest, etc. for the destination (in this case,
the 1950s)
