A Foreign Language Assistance Program (FLAP) Grant
was awarded to the District for three years to develop
a K-12 Mandarin Chinese program.
The grant established partnerships with
 The Stanford Research Team (SRT) from the School
of Education at Stanford University
 The National Center for K-16 Chinese Language
Pedagogy at UC Berkeley
 The California Foreign Language Project

2010-2011 will be the third year of operation of the
Mandarin-English dual immersion program at
Ohlone
