sTLDs
Selected by ICANN in Nov’2000
Conclusions

Customers need further awareness
Clarify confusion (“sponsored”, “generic” & “ccTLDs”)
 .com trends are changing




New TLDs registries expectations were not met

Enhanced marketing strategies are needed

Will the market continue to decrease?
Co-operation among sTLD Registries is critical
Enhance co-operation with Registrars


Registrars need to differentiate sTLDs /gTLDs
How to attract specialized registrars?
“White label” interface for registrars (SITA)



How the re-organization will affect business?
More TLDs (how many more?)
IDN


Community needs more clear ICANN plans
Many Thanks
