 Task: Perform Voice Communications #113-571-1022
 Conditions: Given:
 1. One operational radio set for each team, warmed up and set to the
net frequency.
 2. A call sign information card (5 x 8) consisting of: Net member duty
position (E3E), net call sign, and a message to be transmitted.
 3. Situation: The net is considered to be secure and authentication
is not required.
 4. FM 24-18. Note: This task may have as many net members as
there is equipment available. Each net member must have a different
suffix and message to transmit

call sign sequence, prowords, and phonetic

accuracy.

Precedence PRIORITY. Reserved for important messages which
must have precedence over routine traffic. This is the highest
precedence which normally may be assigned to a message of
administrative nature.
READ BACK
Repeat this entire transmission back to me exactly as received.
RELAY (TO)
Transmit this message to all addresses (or addresses
immediately following this proword). The address component is
mandatory when this proword is used.
ROGER
I have received your last transmission satisfactorily.
ROUTINE
Precedence ROUTINE. Reserved for all types of messages which
are not of sufficient urgency to justify a higher precedence, but
must be delivered to the addressees without delay.
SAY AGAIN
Repeat all of your last transmission. (Followed by identification
data means “Repeat _______(portion indication).”)
SERVICE
The message that follows is a service message.
SILENCE
“Cease transmission immediately.” Silence will be maintained
until lifted. (Transmissions imposing silence must be
uthenticated.)

SPEAK SLOWER
Silence is lifted. (When an authentication system is
in force, the transmission lifting silence is to be
authenticated.)

speed of transmission.
