- Korean cuisine has evolved through a complex interaction of the natural environment and
different cultural trends.
- Korean cuisine is largely based upon rice, vegetable, and meats. Traditional Korean meals
are noted for the number of side dishes(banchan) that accompany steam-cooked short-grain
rice. Kimchi is served often, sometimes at every meal. Commonly used ingredients
include sesame oil, doenjang (fermented bean paste), soy sauce, salt, garlic, ginger, pepper
flakes and gochujang (fermented red chili paste).

- Usual condiments and seasoning of Korean cuisine are beef, chicken, pork, fish and
seafood, vegetables and Medicinal foods

- Phở or pho is a Vietnamese
noodle soup consisting of broth, linguineshaped rice noodles called bánh phở, a
few herbs, and meat. Pho is a
popular street food in Vietnam and the
specialty of a number of restaurant chains
around the world. It is primarily served
with either beef or chicken.
The Hanoi and Saigon styles of pho differ
by noodle width, sweetness of broth, and
choice of herbs. The origin of pho and its
name is a subject of scholarly debate. A
related beef noodle soup, bún bò Huế, is
associated with Huế in central Vietnam.

is commonly used.
