History
1991 – Foundation of the Magyar Suzuki Rt in the industrial park of Esztergom on
35,000 m2 with a share capital of 5.5 billion Hungarian Forints

1992 – Serial production of 1,000 resp. 1,300 cc fivedoor Swift models

1993 – 1995 – Production of four-door Swift Sedan, Swift Van and three-door models

1996 – The 100,000th Hungarian-made Suzuki leaves the plant

1999 – The 250,000th Hungarian-made Suzuki leaves the plant

2000 - Serial production of the Wagon R launched

2003 - Introduction of Ignis
Number of workers: 2000

Audi: FDI brings high technology to Hungary
 Engine plant officially opened in 1994.
 Access to a good supply of skilled workers and highly qualified graduates.
 Almost the entire range of Audi engines is
produced in Hungary. Motors are also
manufactured for Volkwagen, Skoda and Seat.
 Full force of workmen numbers 5,014 persons.
 More than 265,000 Audi TT Coupé, Audi TT
Roadster, Audi A3 and S3.
 Motor Development Centre
 Environmental protection is practised in an exemplary manner.
