Setting the rules: Nuclear Safety Codes, Guides
 Being co-authority in the environmental impact
analysis – assessment from nuclear safety p.o.w.
 Nuclear Safety Licensing:

Licensee submits LTE program by end of 2008
 HAEA NSD evaluates the program
 Licensee submits license request 1 year prior to expiry
of license
 HAEA NSD assesses and evaluates the request, takes a
decision
 Periodic Safety Review according to its timing

