Purpose
The purpose of the Next Steps Committee is to assist the pastor, staff, and church in understanding what God wants Geyer Springs FBC to do in the future to allow us to continue to fulfill the mission God has put before us as a church – to live for God, to love people, and to reach the nations. The committee is charged to make recommendations on the next steps that God desires Geyer Springs FBC to take related to facilities, strengthening current ministries, facilitating partnerships, and other steps we believe God is leading us to make as we continue to reach and disciple people for Christ.

We recommend that the church form a building committee to design, budget, and present to the church a detailed building plan for additional space and potential restructuring of our existing space to meet our current and future ministry needs.

Church Pioneering Recommendation We recommend that the church form a new committee that would provide oversight/guidance in the area of church pioneering. This committee would provide insight, direction, and leadership as the church responds to the opportunities God brings to us in this area.
