Thursday Afternoons 3:00pm
If you have a question during class, raise your hand!
If things get tough, you are
not allowed to give up!
See me for help!
CHEATING
What constitutes cheating?
Copying down someone else’s homework. What if
they “helped” you?
Talking during a test or quiz.
Getting answers from the Internet.
Using your phone during a test or quiz.
I always notice when you cheat, even if I don’t say
anything! Consequences for cheating on a major
assignment are outlined in the Student Handbook.
PARTICIPATION
Students are expected to participate in class every
day.
You may not work on homework from or study for
another class during this one!
Take good class notes, and refer back to them
frequently.
You will get out of this
class what you put into
it.
ABSENT WORK
When you are absent, it is your job to get missing
work from the absent work binder. Students
will be given one day for each day of excused
absence to turn in make-up work. Tests and quizzes
are announced in advance; therefore, immediately
upon returning to school you must attend a tutorial
session to take the quiz or test you missed. Failure
to make up missing assignments right away will
result in an alternate assignment and/or points lost.
Easy ways to get find out what you missed:
1.) Ask me before or after class, or come during a tutorial time.
2.) Ask a friend to get your work for you, or ask them to explain what you
missed!
