These young students, once identified by their parents, doctors, teachers, school counselors, or therapists are then evaluated by our Speech and Occupational Therapists.
Once the parents sign a “permission to evaluate” document, the laws in every state then require these evaluations to take place within a specific and narrow period of time.
Once the evaluation is complete and the therapist concludes that the student requires ongoing services, again by law the student’s school must provide the qualified therapists and pay for the services.
School districts literally pay millions of dollars in due process every year because they are unable to provide therapists quickly enough to maintain compliance.
In addition to the millions spent due to non-compliance, the students fall farther behind in their progress and have even more difficulty catching up.

This combination of technology enables the therapist to give control of the mouse and other tools to the student when they are required to respond to specific questions, commands and tests. The therapist can then take back the control of the tool and bring in new material to motivate the student.

Definition of Scatter Plot
A scatter plot is a graph made by plotting ordered pairs in a coordinate plane to show the correlation between two sets of data.

Examples of Scatter Plot
The scatter plot shows the hours of study and test scores of 20 students.
As the number of hours of study increases, the marks scored tend to increase.
So, the scatter plot describes a positive correlation.
The students in the top right are usually left alone because they are the gifted and the “A” and “B” students who are expected to excel. They are the ones who scholastically progress to success.
The group of students in the middle and lower left are where I spend my time.

Jackie, Thank you for the update. We will work on the homework this coming week. I would be happy to give a video statement. Daniel has made more progress this year than the past 4 years combined. I also wanted to thank you for the generous gift you sent Daniel. He is so thrilled with it and uses it daily. I meant to thank you earlier, but lost track of the time.
We are doing a lot of debating as to what the best place for Daniel's next school year would be. I would welcome your opinion. I do not think that a regular public school would be good. (Too many kids, too many chances to get lost in the crowd or picked on by many.) We are looking at a small private school with about 15 in his class or staying with K12. I would value your insight as to whether or not being around kids his age at this point would be more beneficial. Also, if we decide on the private school...could we work with you directly as his speech therapist via Theraweb? If so, what kind of cost are we looking at?
