What is PTP?
• Accidental injury is the leading cause of death (40%) among
children under the age of 15
• As much as 90% of these injuries can be easily prevented
• Common causes: biking accidents, faulty car booster seats,
domestic dangers, playground injuries, and drowning
accidents
• Accidents result from a lack of proper
equipment
• Lack of education about child safety
makes the treatment more difficult
• PTP is the CNH District’s area of focus
