We focus on what technology enables
one to learn and to explore, and
not on the technology itself.

After lunch, I was convinced to come back because I not
ony learned how to build molecules, I learned hot to use
the Microsoft Excel program spreadsheet. I leaarned to
type formulas in, It was very intriguing. I have to say, I
learned to make a connection between baking a cake
and building a molecule. The process, etc.. GOOD JOB
:) Dora
AmyToday's class was a lot of fun. We learned
how to use Galaxee. We then used Stella to
figure a cofee problem out. I learned a lot. IT
was fun!!!!!1
• I really liked this week. I am definitely coming back.
Iespecially liked the engineering. Also Wledeh was a
really good intern. Also Jenna and Albert.

Today we did a reaal trial. It was really fun.
I am really glad I came and since I am
coming next week (and the week after next),
I can't wait. Thank you for providing these
opprotunities to learn about science.

I think that overall the project experience
was a great success becasue it made me
think about things outside of a 2-dimensional
box and more situations that deal with the
real world. I hope that they will have a class
like this next year because I enjoyed it
greatly!

• The last day at last! I'm definitely going to miss
the Shodor Foundation. I guess I'll just have to
come back next year! We finished and resented
our presentations this afternoon. Until next year,
au revoir! Samantha

Interns
• Middle School through Undergraduate
• We don’t recruit them.
Interns work along side the scientists.
• Interns learn the skills that enabled
them to contribute in meaningful ways.
• They work on our regular research and
development grants and contracts in
national research projects.
• They are supported in paid positions.
• SUCCEED student interns have helped
create Interactivate, our award-winning
interactive math and science explorations.
• They have helped to build the Shodor
website cited as "Best of the Web in
Science" by Forbes Magazine alongside
NASA and the Smithsonian.
