people at one point.

This trip was intended to
bring out the creative
thoughts for
our virtual world project.
Within Chaco Canyon:
the village known as
Pueblo Bonito was used
for inspiration for our
First semester project.
Our Trip To Museum of Indian Art and
Culture in Santa Fe, NM



A quest for inspiration
Students took a behind
the scenes tour of the
museum.
Cultural items provided a
medium for our
creativity linking our past
and the present.
Our Native Languages




3 different languages used in class projects:
Diné (Navajo)
Towa (Jemez)
Shiwi (Zuni)
A tool to encourage use our Native
Languages




Use of modern and evolving technology.
Putting our Native Languages into modern
day context.
It is a means to bring the different Native
Languages together.
Multimedia with its interactivity and ability to
combine audio, text and pictures – is ideal for
language education and should be specifically
tailored to preserve and teach Native
languages.

Advantages of Multimedia

New technologies can intuitively bring
together a generation with elder knowledge
and a technically savvy younger generation to
reach out to kids who are more comfortable
and literate in computers.
