Experience
 Eray started his career as an Assistant Tax Auditor at İstanbul office of Arthur Andersen in year 1999 and worked




until year 2002.
He joined KPMG Turkey as a senior in year 2002. He was promoted as a manager in year 2005, a senior
manager in year 2008 and a director in year 2011
As a director, he is specialized in M&A Tax services and International Corporate Tax Services for the last 10
years. He has wide experience in working with corporate investors from various industries and private equity
firms regarding their investments to Turkey. He has been involved in more than 200 sell/ buy side tax due
diligence projects in various industries and assisted many investors regarding the structuring of their
investments/ acquisitions in Turkey
He has also worked for many Turkish companies regarding their Turkish acquisitions and outbound investments.
He has wide sector experience including energy, food, real estate, manufacturing, construction, information
technology and telecommunication sectors. He also has extensive knowledge on Turkish tax legislation, Turkish
double tax treaty network, international structuring schemes
Eray has recently been assigned as the Head of Japanese Desk and IES Country Leader in KPMG Turkey
