1. Why are there so many unrepresented counties on the
map?
These areas are unchartered territories.
Historically there were not enough
members in those areas to start a
section. LSAC is interested in talking to
sections that may want to annex the
areas or to help start a section in the
area.

2. Why not have a small map of ACS Regions?
A few copies of the District maps
are located on the back tables.

3. Can membership numbers be added to maps?
The numbers change each year and
the maps do not. The best source for
your membership numbers would be
the eRoster.

7. What’s the difference between a region and a district?
Districts are drawn and approved by Council
based on ACS Bylaws and populations within
each District. Regions are historic and don’t
have to change.

8. When will elections be able to be held electronically?
YOU CAN! Check your Bylaws. If your
Bylaws don’t allow, email [email protected]
to begin the process to update them.

accident during NCW or Earth Day?

have to ask for it and complete a insurance
form.

11. ACS offers a number of printed items that can
be distributed but are there thoughts of other
formats (e.g. QR codes) that may be better for a
young audience?

12. What is the future annual cost for the Email
Management Service, Real Magnet, for each local
section?
The service is being pilot tested. The
current expectation is that it will be
offered to local sections at no cost.

14. How do we learn to set up a webinar for regional
activity?
ACS has negotiated discounted rates for local
sections to use A+ conferencing. Visit
