The Present…
• Other considerations
– Operating Costs of multiple buildings
– Land acquisition is District responsibility
– Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design
(LEED) requirements for renovating schools
The Future…
• OSFC potential offer of funding in Spring 2010
• Accept
– Ballot in November 2010, February 2011, May 2011 and
August 2011
– Finalize Master Plan Scope in April/May 2010
– Unsuccessful in 1 year to raise Local Share = Lapsed
District. Continue to raise funds and contact OSFC for
next cycle of funding. Enrollment updated and current
Construction Costs applied; District goal to anticipate
changes so raised Local Share is correct.
• Timing is crucial
The Future…
• Defer
– Board Resolution required
– Spring 2011 offer of Funding
– Ballot in November 2011, 3 more times in 2012
– Changes in Construction Costs, Enrollment and
Equity Rank (local share percentage)
