AB Calculus
Description
This course provides students
with the content established by
the College Board. Topics
include: (1) functions, graphs,
and limits, (2) derivatives, and
(3) integrals. The use of
graphing technology is required.
AB Calculus
Outcomes
Understand a derivative and use derivatives to solve problems.
Understand a definite integral and use integrals to solve problems.
Understand the relationship between derivatives and integrals.
Communicate mathematics well and be able to explain solutions.
Model physical situations mathematically.
Use technology to help solve problems, experiment, interpret
results, and verify conclusions.
