The 2002 ASHRAE Student Design Project Competition
focuses on the design of a combined family center and
athletic facility located in Lincoln, Nebraska.
The Student Design Project Competition teams may
compete and be evaluated in any or all of the following
categories.

Architectural Design

HVAC System Selection

HVAC System Design
The HVAC system selection project groups will concentrate on
determining the best system for the application, while the HVAC system
design project groups will perform a detailed design for a single type of
system.
Both groups will prepare their designs using CADD generated
architectural plans provided by ASHRAE, unless they are working with
an architectural project group that will give them this information.
