• The Citadel Fund• Raised $1.4 million for the unrestricted needs of the college
• Alumni participation- 30.25%
• Class Chairmen Letters• Spring Letters- $226K
• Of which $145K went to The Citadel Fund
• Fall letters- $333K
• Of which $226K went to The Citadel Fund

How to Succeed in 2012
• Class Letters
• Commit to writing 2 letters in 2012
• Timely, in coordination with Elizabeth’s schedule
• Spring letter due March 26th
• Thorough and informative
• Make your annual gift first
• “Will you join me in making a gift in 2012?”
• Assist with Address and Email Updates
• Contact Elizabeth or Ryan

• Utilize Ryan’s expertise as a resource for training
• Set Annual Goals
• The annual giving team will meet with all Chairmen in person or via
phone call to set realistic and motivating goals this spring
