Veterans County Service Officers
Veterans County Service Officers (VCSO) are
located in most counties throughout Texas. Each
VCSO is appointed by the Commissioners Court of
his/her respective county. VCSOs assist veterans
with resources and services for many local, state,
and federal benefits. The Texas Veterans
Commission works closely with Veterans County
Services Officers by providing support, training,
assisting with outreach, and coordinating with
benefits programs.
