Company profile
INDUSTRY POSITIONING:
In only a few short years, APT has become one of the top 10% industry leaders in Australia for manufacturing Precision Engineering Solutions in the Australian
(precision repetitive componentry) sector. This has been largely due to a fine yet humble blend of knowledge, experience, and business savvy that the directors
have provided in meeting and exceeding the needs of clients on almost all occasions. The Overall Technology Solutions model provides streamlined processes for
complete customer proficiency overall in every instance.
APT has developed – components for automotive assemblies, transport and railway applications, aerospace solutions, defence industry initiatives and a number of
other applications to a variety of Precision Engineering fields. These have been produced through skill in innovation resulting from a sophisticated manufacturing
process, which also in the long run has had a revolutionary impact on the Repetitive industry, creating benchmarks that a number of other manufacturers have
started to follow. APT Plant and Technology is ranked in the top 10% of operators in Australia. In addition APT is a key “round table” voice and partner in the ART –
Of Engineering consortium.

APT TECHNOLOGY
Technology RANGE:
APT having a formidable array of CNC machining technology is able to provide customers with a variety of Precision Engineering Solutions. The scope of “on-floor”
machinery puts APT in the top 10% of the leading precision engineering manufacturers in Australia providing APT Value Delivery to customers over a large spectrum of key
industries sectors.
APT Technology
Through the intellect and know how of APT CNC programmers and production manager, Ben Odnoral, Dennis Smith, Gary and Brendan, APT is able to provide further
innovation to precision manufacturing, by not just meeting the programming capabilities of CNC machines, but to program the CNC’s to further levels of capabilities, above
what standard manufacturing processes originally allow for. APT doesn’t just run CNC machinery but applies ingenuity by way of intelligent programming capabilities and
under Quality Assured parameters. APT is an ISO9001 Quality Assured company.
APT ADVANCED MULTI-AXIS CNC Machinery:
CNC Machining & Turning & Milling & QA Controls are carried out by multiple –

Star Micronics; SA-16R, SV32 CNC Lathes systems

Tornos Bechler’s; DECO 2000 CNC Lathes systems

Miyano’s; BNE – 51S/SY & ABX 64 CNC Lathes systems

Okuma’s; MU400 5 axis Machining

Sheffield; CMM & Vision QA Control systems


Materials Used In manufacturing:
Stainless steel, mild steel, brass, titanium, aluminum, plastics and a variety of other industry
materials . Also these additional thoughts and expertise are taking into account metallurgical values,
tolerances, load ratings, dimension control, torque applications, shield and seal types are all vital
aspects of the thought process that goes into Precision Engineering processes that APT applies to
any stage of manufacturing.
APT QUALITY CONTROL & ASSURANCE SYSTEMS
APT QUALITY CONTROL & ASSURANCE:
APT’s manufacturing process is controlled by a certified QA system. Various performance functions are tested under stringent procedures for
compliance. These are also applied to finished products that grade to clients standards and requirements. APT’s Quality Control and Assurance
Management system is monitored by Quality Assurance manager Mr Ian MacKenzie which is achieving the highest industry standards required.
On top of this a post analysis is carried out. Additional “recommendation” guidelines are given to customers, along with additional advisory and
cautioning where required. This is the level of service that APT extends through its Customer Value delivery that not only meets but exceeds the
needs of customers. APT is an ISO9001 Quality Assured Company.

APT O.T.S Overview
APT Overall Technology Solutions model
This is the manner in which APT looks at and applies a strategic thinking model to any particular project or task to be achieved.
The starting block of this is that well conceived systems and strategies are applied to a solution.
This involves a robust research and development process that
a
completes and sets all requirements, and launches the project on a well defined trajectory.
The end result of this is a streamlined product delivery mechanism that means that the customer does not have to endure a long drawn out convoluted process,
which means that customers can apply these solutions to their own product development and assembly processes.
This involves the best material, program a CNC, apply thorough quality control, engage assembly (if needed), package and ship the product.
