Implementation
Identify the Job Hazards and post the code of
safety procedure
Train the employee on Job Related Hazards..
Document the training on annual basis and
refresher thereafter
Never assign a new employee to a job without:
1) Safety Orientation, 2) Job Specific Hazards
3) Provide the PPE for that job

WHO GETS INSEPCTED
1. Imminent Danger- Reasonable certainty that a
danger exists that is expected to cause death or
serious physical harm.
2. Catastrophes & Fatal Accidents- death or
hospitalization of 3 or more employees. (Must be
reported to OSHA within 8 hours)
3. Employee Complaints- When the employee feels
they are in imminent danger or threatened with
physical harm.

Osha Reporting Rules
Basic requirement. Within eight (8) hours after the
death of any employee from a work-related incident or
the in-patient hospitalization of three or more
employees as a result of a work-related incident, you
must orally report the fatality/multiple hospitalization
by telephone or in person to the Area Office of the
Occupational Safety and Health Administration
(OSHA), U.S. Department of Labor, that is nearest to
the site of the incident. You may also use the OSHA
toll-free central telephone number, 1-800-321-OSHA
Note: Emergency
Responders must report the accident
(1-800-321-6742).

BEHAVIOR AND CHANGE OF EMPLOYEE
ATTITUDE TOWARD SAFETY
Promote real time hazard evaluation and
correction by motivational mode such as:
SAFE HOURS timeline with no injuries
recorded,followed by company prizes and
awards…
Encourage hazard assessment and near miss
reporting through voluntary program…
Promote employees’ safety attitude such that
SAFETY comes FIRST at their work place….
And no compromise….think safe, work safe, and
fix unsafe conditions….then receive company
wide award….It is all about safety
