Project Overview
MTPD provides trip permits, oversize/overweight permits and routing
to commercial carriers that operate on our highways
• This project is to replace the current outdated system
• Selected vendor is ProMiles Software Development Corporation
– System has been used in 5 other states before New Mexico
• The system will provide:

Accurate routing to carriers
Advanced technologies – mapping, routing, web based
Improved system response time
Timely trip permits
Automated and less labor intensive
• System uses map data for routing to be housed at the Earth Data
Analysis Center (EDAC)

• Selected vendor is ProMiles Software Development
Corporation (PSDC)
– System is used in 5 states, New Mexico will be number 6
– The vendor, PDSC, will be providing an offsite hosted
solution in Las Cruces, NM
– Backup site in Dallas, TX
• SOW for EDAC map data completed
• PSDC Contract ready for review and approval
