KOMPOT Z SUSZU
(DRIED FRUITS COMPOTE)
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 big packet of dried fruits
- 3 liters of water
- some sugar
- juice of quatered lemon
- some cloves
- a piece of beet for colour
DIRECTIONS:
Wash the dried fruits.
Pour water into the pot.
Throw the fruits into the pot.
Boil for 40 minutes.
Add lemon juice.
Stir.
Add sugar, beet and cloves
if you wish.
PREPARATION TIME:
50 minutes

BARSZCZ BIAŁY
(WHITE BORSCHT)
INGREDIENTS:
- 60 decagrams of raw, white sausage
- 6 glasses of water
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 dried mushroom (a hat)
- 2 glasses of sourdough
- 4 hard-boiled eggs
- salt
- marjoram
- few grains of black pepper
- few grains of allspice
- 1 bay leaf
DIRECTIONS:
Put the sausage in the saucepan and pour
water.
Add spices, a mushroom and garlic.
Simmer for 15 minutes when it’s boiling.
Take out the sausage with a sieve.
Wait until the brew begins to boil.
Stir and add the sourdough.
Boil for a few minutes.
Add the marjoram, salt and pepper.
Slice sausages, eggs and a mushroom.
Put slices into a tureen.
Pour soup.
PREPARATION TIME : 20 minutes

KOTLET SCHABOWY
(PORK CHOP)
INGREDIENTS:
- 4 pieces of pork (boneless)
- 1 egg
- 0,5 teaspoon of salt
- 0,5 teaspoon of pepper
- 1 pinch of chili pepper
- bread crumbs
- flour
- vegetable oil for frying
DIRECTIONS:
Beat the thick slice of meat.
Put the meat into flour.
Break egg into a bowl.
Pour bread crumbs on a plate.
Put the meat into an egg.
Put the meat into bread crumbs.
Fry.
Preparation time: about 20 minutes

SERNIK
(POLISH CHEESECAKE)
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 kg of white cheese
- 8 eggs
- 400 grams of crystal sugar
- 2 vanilla puddings or cream
- 1 tablespoon of corn flour
- ¾ cup of butter
- 1vanilla flavour
2 teaspoons of baking powder
- raisins (optional)
DIRECTIONS:
Mix yolks with sugar.
Mince cheese in a mincer.
Add egg yolks to the soft butter and grind it.
Add a little of cheese continuously when
grinding.
Add vanilla flavour, puddings, baking
powder, a tablespoon of corn flour and
raisins.
Mix everything.
Butter a baking pan.
Pour the mixture.
Bake 75 minutes.
Take out the cheesecake when
it cooled down.
Preparation time: about 90 minutes

(ANGEL WINGS)
INGREDIENTS:
- about 2 cups of wheat flour
- 4 yolks
- 3 tablespoons of thick cream
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 3 little tablespoons of sugar
- 1 package of vanilla sugar (16 g)
- 1 liter of oil
DIRECTIONS:
Knead the dough.
Roll the dough
very thinly.
Mix all
components
(without oil).
Cut the
dough into
3x8 cm
strips
and cut in
the
middle.
Pull one
end
through
the
cut.
Fry in oil till they turn golden.
