Importing / inserting files:
Method
Tips for making a successful poster:
•
Organise the poster units in a logical flow from
top to bottom or left to right.
•
Use headings and colour.
•
Make liberal use of large photos, figures, tables,
diagrams, maps etc.
•
The discussion (if necessary) and conclusions
should be stated on large type. Many viewers
read this first and hence it should be easy to
understand.
•
Results should be presented as graphs or
tables. They should be self-explanatory and
therefore please provide a clear legend including
symbols. You may also want to provide an
interpretation of the results below each
•
Simplify everything, avoid data overkill.
Images such as photographs, graphs, diagrams,
logos, etc., can be added to the poster. The best
type of image files to insert are JPEG or TIFF.
JPEG is the preferred format. Be aware of the
image size you are importing. The average colour
photo (13 x 18cm at 180dpi) would be about 3Mb.
Conclusion
The Ozwater’15 ePoster system now includes
Acara integration.
