Transparency in 2014/15
• Broadened our reach to a range of
different audiences
• Increased the number of hits to
our datasets to over 60,000 a
quarter. Our “delays explained”
series remains the most popular
• Increased the number of
registered users to our open data
feeds
In April 2015 31% of people
said they thought we were a
transparent company
• Exceeded our target for 2014/15
on proactive publication –
publishing 34 new categories of
information
• Ran the first cross-rail industry
hackathon in conjunction with the
Rail Delivery Group and the
Association of Train Operating
Companies
• Uncovered good case study
examples as part of our open
culture work
• Held a company wide
Transparency and Ethics day
/
The year ahead…
• Publishing even more new categories of information as part of our
proactive publication scheme
• Improving the quality and reliability of the data and information we
publish, attracting more people to both
• Expanding our open culture work - achieving a baseline measure for
the number of employees who think their teams are working in an
open way, and increasing on this over the year
• Developing the relationship between Freedom of Information and
transparency.
