The operations under the Priority axes Improvement of the maritime and inland-waterway navigation will be related to the: Removing the bottlenecks on the Danube River Setting up and development of navigation information systems OPERATIONAL PROGRAMME ON “TRANSPORT” 2007 – 2013 Improvement of the maritime and inland-waterway navigation Projects € mln Improvement of the navigation on the Danube in joint Bulgarian - Romanian parts: from rkm 530 to rkm 520 – Bathin from rkm 576 to rkm 560 - Belene 138,00 River Information Services System in the Establishment of Bulgarian part of Danube River 15,00 Vessel Traffic Management Information System – phase 3 3,85 Indicative budget 156,85 OPERATIONAL PROGRAMME ON “TRANSPORT” 2007 – 2013 Institutional framework of the Operational Programme on Transport Managing authority: With a Council of Ministers Decree № 4/21.01.2000, put into force since 17.12.2004, Coordination of Programmes and Projects Directorate within the Ministry of Transport was nominated to act as Managing Authority of the Operational Programme on Transport.
