Rather lower wage increases.
Collective agreements with longer period of validity are preponderance.
Qualitative elements (e.g. securing employment, against precarious work,
qualification and training).
Working time reduction in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, Working time
extension in Spain.
Difficult bargaining position for trade unions because of the on-going crisis
in Europe.
Impacts of austerity-policy and new interventionism in wage policy and
collective bargaining systems in the EU.

Czech Republic: September 2014 till March 2015.
Slovakia: End of 2014.

Demands of future collective bargaining

Tendency: Focus on wage increase (increase of wage tables,
bonuses, extra allowances, productivity pay etc.)
OZ KOVO (Slovakia): Reduction of working time, additional
free days for employees on risk work, health programs.
