Why standards of series EN 5013X “Alarm systems”?
• ISO- standards – terminological, but very general
• IEC- standards – general technical requirements to the
environment impact resistibility, EMC, electro-safety
• EN 5013X- standards – obtain purpose indicator better
grouped and specific for Alarm systems
• EN 5013X – classification of Alarm systems into safety
grades 1 – 4
• EN 5013X – total capability of estimating measures of risk for
security and insurance
• manufacturer’s possibility to develop cheap and costly
products of the same kind according to market demand
• EN 50131 – prospect for Ukrainian manufacturers since
they will be accepted as international in 2011-2012
