Datalink Systems Inc.
Datalink Systems Inc. has been developing wireless IP packet data
Communications Software for more than ten years !!
And we think it shows!
introducing
FleetLink
Professional GPS tracking system
FleetLink
by Datalink Systems Inc.
FleetLink is a complete “end to end” software & hardware tracking and “officer down” protection
solution for Fleet Management and field workers. FleetLink’s strength is its ability to integrate
with a range of 3rd. party wireless GPS products. Based on a conventional “client/server”
relationship FleetLink can be installed in any Windows based server, unlike an ASP service
where the server is owned and controlled by a 3rd. Party.
DataGate is the packet data IP routing hub which acts as the central server, linking a variety of
remote tracking devices over multiple wireless networks with all data being routed though the
common hub.
FleetLink routes packet data over the following satellite and Terrestrial networks;
Iridium…… Globalstar (Duplex and Simplex)…..MSV (MSAT-1)….Inmarsat.
GSM-GPRS…CDMA-1xRTT… VHF/UHF/800 including Kenwood Fleetsync and NX.
Key features








Multiple wireless network interface
Works with static and dynamic IP addressing
Captures dynamic IPs (GPRS and Globalstar)
Works as a private routing hub for maximum security
Integrates with legacy systems and 3rd. Party programs
Integrates with MS-SQL and other ODBC databases
Web-Browser option with limited GPS tracking features
Integrated with a wide range of 3rd party remote tracking devices
DataHOST
by Datalink Systems Inc.
DataHOST is the optional “client” program that resides on workstation computers.
DataHOST will work with a number of maps and also offers an ESRI GIS interface.
DataHOST currently works with mapping programs such as Virtual Earth, Google Earth,
Google Maps, MapINFO and Streets-on-a-Disk. Datahost can also provide a NMEA GPS
output for Marine Charts and 3rd. Party development.
Unlike the majority of ASP Web based AVL-GPS vehicle tracking services where a 3rd.
Party hosts all the data, DataHOST stores the historical data on the local computer,
allowing for instant recall and Global map zooming in seconds.
DataHost can also be installed in a Laptop for mobile command applications with data
being routed from the DataGate central hub over satellite or terrestrial wireless networks.
This allows commanders in the field to have a complete picture of the location of remote
assets and personnel in almost real time. Two-way text messaging is also possible with a
number of remote devices.
WebLink
by Datalink Systems Inc.
WebLink allows remote computers with MS windows operating system to connect to a
DataGate by using web browsing software such as Internet Explorer or Firefox.
The WebLink option does not offer the wide range of features and “add on” options
available with our DataHost software. WebLink is ideally suited for those clients who want
to easily check the location of their remote assets, vehicles or vessels from any computer
connected to the internet.
Mobius by Datalink Systems Inc.
Perfect “add-on” to BGAN terminals
Mobius, developed by Datalink Systems Inc. is a Windows based software program for mobile
laptops or ruggedized tablets operating in the field. Mobius and FleetLink can provide an "end
to end" software solution over multiple networks. Mobius would be installed in a mobile
Laptop or Tablet P.C. providing GPS tracking, two-way text messaging and file transfers. The
central DataGATE hub will route the data to DataHost workstations or 3rd. party programs.
A mobile DataHost provides field supervisors with full control, wheras Mobius is for the
individual in the field providing on screen mapping and navigation plus two-way text
messaging. By adding a GPS receiver, the laptops own position appears on the map as well
as being transmitted to remote DataHosts.
Mobius is compatible with BGAN terminals and other modems listed elsewhere. For dual
network operation other modems can be attached via the serial COM ports to work over the
following networks.
IRIDIUM….. GSM-GPRS…..CDMA 1xRTT… VHF-UHF networks and WiFi.
3rd. Party hardware
FleetLink is integrated with the following 3rd. party hardware
• Blackberries (GPS tracking and panic button)
• Enfora Mini-MT
• Enfora MT-Gu
• Axonn SmartOne ( satellite asset tracking)
• Axon SPOT ( Globalstar personnel tracking)
• GarminNuvi two-way messaging and navigation terminals
• Grace Industries “lone worker” protection devices.
Advanced tracking and personnel protection
Designed and marketed by Datalink Systems Inc.
The Tracker i50B offers multi-network GPS
tracking (Iridium Satellite and GSM-GPRS) with
auto-switching between networks.
Internal modem options include iridium satellite
network, GSM-GPRS global cellular networks
and local 802-11b Wi-Fi links.
The Tracker i50B designed by
Datalink is probably the most
advanced mobile data terminal
available.
The i50B can be connected to Garmin NUVI
terminals, providing two-way text messaging
and also the Grace Supercell personal
protection unit. More details on the following
screens.

GARMIN
two-way communications.
Datalink has developed an advanced tracking and data
communications package integrating the Tracker i50B
with selected Garmin units and an optional Grace
Industries Supercell “lone worker” protection system.
Garmin nuvi units will work with
Enfora and i50B Tracker units
The power of FleetLink software allows a base dispatcher to select an address or destination
point on a map and to transmit the location over a cellular or satellite link to the vehicle,
where the Garmin unit will calculate the vehicle's current location and the best route to the
destination point and display it for the driver to follow. FleetLink will also allow two-way text
messages to be exchanged between the dispatch desk and the driver. The driver can send a
choice of "canned" messages or free form messages. The GPS location of the vehicle is
automatically sent to the dispatcher's computer mapping display.

Supercell personal protection
Datalink Systems Inc. has developed an advanced safety
monitoring system for field personnel in any location. The Grace
Industries Supercell wireless safety monitoring unit provides twoway data communications between field personnel and their
vehicles. The information is then relayed over satellite, cellular or
mobile radio channels to the base monitoring software.
If the worker collapses or is incapacitated the unit will automatically
send an emergency alert to the base monitoring control.
The base monitoring software can also automatically send text
message emergency alerts via email to one or more cell-phones.
The system operates in the 900 MHz ISM license free band and
provides a two-way link up to one mile “line of sight” with the vehicle
mounted transceiver. The Supercell also provides an “out of range”
alert and motion sense trigger.
