Teacher-in-charge : Ms Jacki
Date of Presentation : 12th September, 2008
Good morning
principal, teachers
and students.
We are here
today to talk
to you about
English.
Firstly we would
like to introduce
our Native
English Speaker
Miss Jacki.
Miss Jacki
comes
from
Australia
and is
here to
help us
with our
English.
Miss Jacki, do you have any tips
for learning English?
The best way to learn
English is to speak in
English. Watching
English language films or
television is also good.
Of course if you want
to do well in English at
school reading is the
best thing you can do.
Magazines, newspapers,
books anything.
What do you think students
should do if they are having
trouble with English?
If students are having trouble
with English they should ask for
help. All the English teachers
are happy to help. The most
important thing though is to not
to lose heart – learning English
is difficult but it is just like
training for a sport _ if you
keep practising you get better
at it.
Thank you Miss Jacki. We
would also like to tell you about
English speaking Day three.
This is a day when you need to
try to speak English to your
friends. We will also have
presentations in English on these
days.
The English Corner will be
open at lunch times and after
school from September 16th.
Please come to the English
corner to read books and enjoy
speaking English.
Thank you for
listening.
And thank you
Miss Jacki.
