webinars on current Project Management Topics. Look for these
and other free PDU opportunities on our web site.
• Free 3rd-Party Monthly 1-PDU Seminars – Roeder Consulting
offers these free webinars on current Project Management
Topics. Look for these free PDU opportunities on our web site.
• Obtain PDU’s to Acquire/Maintain your PMI Certification(s) –
Find many links to help you with your PMI Certification, in
addition to the free webinars available to you through PMI-CIE.
• PMI Communities of Practice (CoP’s) – Get involved with
other PMI members and project managers involved in your
specific industry by subscribing to one of these groups.

June Survey Actions
• Room Noise Level – We are working with Antonino’s to
soundproof the room and ensure that no other meetings take
place next door during our Monthly Dinner Meeting.
• New Survey Question – Members indicated that this venue
was not convenient for them. Therefore, an additional line on
the survey was added to enter alternate location ideas.
• Suggested Future Topics - We are currently making plans to
offer additional PDU events available with new topics in the
future, including PMP Exam Application Reviews, Agile/Scrum
Workshops and Soft Skills/Communication Skills Presentations.
• Resume Reviews/Other Job Placement Activities – The BOD
has been trying to recruit staffing agency personnel and other
volunteers to help offer this program for an hour before our
monthly dinner meetings. We welcome all help and suggestions.

Outreach Committee
• Monthly Dinner Meeting Highlights Email – An email will be sent
out to all members after each meeting and will include the following:
• Take-aways from speaker presentation
• Summaries of new information from dinner meeting announcements
• Upcoming project management events at Southern California PMI
chapters and other project management-related associations
• Identify Target Companies with PMO’s – The Outreach Committee
is currently Identifying companies within Riverside and San
Bernardino Counties to target marketing campaigns to increase our
membership and offer more PMO-related information and services.
• Promote PMI CoP’s – As part of an effort to increase exposure of
PMI CoP’s, we will be expanding our PMI CoP information offerings.

Director of Programs
• Primary – Provide support to the VP of Programs, managing
monthly Dinner Meeting details:
- Schedule speakers
- Obtain speaker biography/photo/summary/presentation
- Revise PowerPoint presentations
- Act as Master of Ceremonies
- Present speaker Certificate of Appreciation
• Secondary – Assist VP of Professional Development in selecting
Advanced Topics and contacting other special event speakers
• 2-3 hrs per week; 12 months service = 5 PDU’s

this new PMI Agile Certification is being offered starting
September 2011. Complete and submit your PMI-ACP

• PMI Consultant Registry – A new online directory that helps
organizations find Project, Program and Portfolio Management
consulting firms, and helps them to embrace the profession of
project management, and attribute their success to it.
• Exciting New Ways to Earn PDU’s with CoP’s – Expanded
PDU categories by the PMI allow participants more ways of
earning those must-needed PDU’s. Check out www.pmi.org
for the new PDU category list to maintain your certification(s).
