Purpose of Webinar

• • • MI Health Link is a game changing program for community mental health service providers (CMHSPs) and prepaid inpatient health plans (PIHPs).

DWMHA wants to ensure that all contracted providers are informed well the most recent information to provide behavioral health services for enrollees in this program.

What to do when a MI Health Link Enrollee comes to your organization for regularly scheduled services, who has not gone through the Level I/Level II Assessment Process

Scenario: MI Health Link Enrollee presents for outpatient services, without a Level I Assessment referral for a Level II Assessment-

Provider will check insurance eligibility/verification If MI Health Link,register patient as usual in system Acknowledge that consumer is in the MI Health Link Program Provide consumer with MI Health Link Member Handbook, Welcome Letter, and Privacy Notice.

Provide consumer with new BH Consent, explain and ensure that the ICO, DWMHA, Provider and others are on the consent form. This consent is particulary important for the electronic exchange of data. Update, if necessary, Biopsychosocial; LOCUS; SIS. Notify [email protected] of MI Health Link enrollee cam in for service.

Request authorization for services and bill for services under MI Health Link contract 4/30/2020 v.aes

Scenario: MI Health Link Enrollee presents at outpatient provider from a Level I Assessment that generated a Level II referral-

Access Center schedules appointment for Level II Assessment Provider will check insurance eligibility/ verification If MI Health Link,register patient as usual in system Acknowledge that consumer is in the MI Health Link Program Provide consumer with MI Health Link Member Handbook, Welcome Letter, and Privacy Notice.

Provide consumer with new BH Consent, explain and ensure that the ICO, DWMHA, Provider and others are on the consent form. This consent is particulary important for the electronic exchange of data. Update, if necessary, Biopsychosocial; LOCUS; SIS. Notify ICO Care Coordinator that the Level II is complete.

Uplaod/Secure email Level II to the ICO Care Coordinator Notify [email protected]

Discuss with the ICO Care Coordinator, plan for ICT to complete IICSP.
