with pull down menus so you can select the fields you
want to search. Put only one search term in a box.
CLIC
You can combine search terms using any of the Boolean
operators to the left of the search boxes.
CLIC
You may add an “$” on the end of a term to search a
word with multiple possible endings. For example
“ethic$” will search “ethic”, “ethics”, and “ethical”.
CLIC
Additional CLIC tips are in the box on the right
side and in the “Help” section.
CLIC
To limit your searches using “material type” and “pubyear”.
(Use the pull down arrow for a full list of material types
choices. Click on the type you want to search.

record. Many books will also include the full
table of contents.

screen and not the Internet browser.
CLIC
Using the Internet browser to navigate when the
resource provides you with its own, will
eventually lock up your resource.

Journals, Magazines”, “HSL Journal”, or “E-JOURNAL”

particular topic that can have its own record but
still be include in the under a series title.
CLIC
The “Full Record” tab displays individual issues
and/or a list of bound volumes. Location for some
older issues may indicate that they are in
“microfiche” or paper.
