 Prime Minister’s Australia Asia Endeavour Postgraduate Awards (20)
 Prime Minister’s Australia Asia Endeavour Undergraduate Awards (20)
International Applicants:
 Prime Minister’s Australia Asia Endeavour Postgraduate Awards (10)

 Build professional networks throughout Asia

Opportunities for Universities
 Develop and enhance links throughout Asia
 Build profiles in the Asia region
 Involvement in the nomination of students for the Awards
 $3,000 per successful nominated applicant to help with the
internship placement
Structure of Award
Stage 1
 Study component for up to 12 months (6 months or 1 semester
minimum)
Stage 2
 Internship or work placement component for up to 12 months (2
months minimum)
Internship
 Compulsory for Undergraduate Award holders
 Strongly encouraged for Postgraduate Award holders
 Between two and 12 months duration
 Can be undertaken with more than one employer
Selection Criteria and Eligibility
 High-level academic achievement
 Well defined study or research program
 Relevant proposal
 Potential to foster ongoing collaboration and cooperation
 Community engagement
Unique achievement or outstanding service
Required Documents
 Application form
 Proof of academic achievement
 Referee report
 Confirmation of affiliation or offer of acceptance from the
host university

Applications open and Universities will have their
own internal timelines for applications

Nominations from Universities due to DEEWR

Applications assessed by independent selection panel
Early Nov
Outcome announced and Award Holders informed
Late Nov
Event in Canberra for Award Holders and Universities
